Calling all developers!
What: Join us for a day of learning, building, and togetherness with the main theme of Collaboration.
This year's Collaboration theme is focused on the idea that it takes a village to raise a child—or more precisely, that some of the most impactful and impressive technical achievements are, in fact, borne out of collaborative efforts between folks with many different backgrounds, skills, and areas of expertise. As an open-source software provider, we strongly believe that this is the best, most innovative, fun, and fruitful way to do software.
By attending the Community event, you get the opportunity to discover the possibilities of building with Umbraco CMS through technical talks, deep dives, and hands-on workshops. Additionally, you will get a chance to meet the people behind the software and connect with the friendly Umbraco Community.
Who: This event is designed for new, upcoming, and existing Umbraco developers - so everyone is welcome!
Where and when: The Community event takes place on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Charlotte Convention Center.
The program will run from 9 AM to 5 PM, followed by a networking reception until 7 PM. Check out the outline of the program here.
Interested in joining a Hackathon as well?
On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, you have the chance to spend the day hacking with other Umbracians.
Lotte Pitcher, Blake Watt, and Allen Smith will be facilitating a community hackathon where attendees can hack together in a variety of ways based on their experience level.
Newcomers will have an opportunity to get up and running with an Umbraco development environment. Seasoned Umbracians will be able to experiment with a pre-release of v14, and curious or aspiring package developers will have a chance to build packages targeting v12.
Where and when: The Hackathon takes place on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at the Umbraco's US HQ.
